Can anyone be a company director?

You cannot be a company director of a Limited Company if you are an un-discharged bankrupt or disqualified by a court from holding a directorship, unless given leave to act in respect of a particular company or companies.

Under the Companies Act 2006 a director must be at least 16 years old.
